Don Quixote
Don Quixote: the knight of La Mancha acts with lots of enthusiasm and great self-deception against the gloomy side of society. To some people around him it looks like his actions and engagement end up unintentional, very comic and even stupid.
That's how we would discribe Don Quixotte.
It's a way of acting, a way of living, an engagement, indeed. He doesn't talk too much, he's not giving orders; he gives the example, he's a role-model.
